Rosetta Cover Reveal

We’ve been busy in the engine room this past month, prepping our latest book for launch. It’s a collection of prose and poetry about ESA’s Rosetta mission by Space Cat’s poet and editor, Siobhan Logan. Dabbing away the oil spots and polishing the chrome, we’re finally ready to share the cover design with you. And note the brand-new title too! We’re so excited to be unveiling this one ahead of its live launch at September’s British Science Festival. And we’d love to hear your thoughts on the ebook cover. Ta-Daaah!

The blurb of reads:

Prepare to face a comet’s awakening ‘dragon’ alongside gods, monsters and a mummified king. For twelve years, the European Space Agency’s ROSETTA spacecraft chased comet 67P across the solar system to unlock the secrets of its birth. Siobhan Logan reimagines that exhilarating mission in a new collection of poetry and prose. Inspired by photos of the comet’s rocky wilderness, Logan blends ancient mythology and modern space adventure in an Egyptian Book of Hours. The twenty-four poems or ‘spells’ steer us through Rosetta’s voyage while her Underworld Guidebook unpacks the mission’s mythology and science.

We’re thrilled to be launching this book at next month’s British Science Festival with a special performance. Rosetta – Voyage to a Comet’s Underworld! will be presented on the evening of Friday 16th September at the Manhattan 34 Cellar Bar in Leicester. It will be the first set of Two Spoken Word Voyages into Poetry from 6pm onwards. More details to follow but Logan plans an interactive show that will rekindle the excitement of ESA’s comet adventure. You can book tickets for this FREE event via the festival website.
