One Set of Footsteps tracks a nameless man’s flight through a forest and leaves us guessing about who (or what) was pursuing him.

Here’s a snippet:

The depth and breadth of the footprints down the forest path indicate a tall, broad-chested man. The indistinct edges suggest his boots have seen better days. The distance between each print grows longer and longer, until the only mark is from the top half of the shoe. The man was running like a beast from the hunter’s hounds – yet his footsteps are the only ones on the dirt path.
