Bark & Bone Contribution

Wolfskin is a highly original RRH retelling that unwraps the many ways a pelt can be stripped.

Here’s a snippet:

But there was a fire in the cottage and a pot over the fire giving off a lovely smell of cooked meat. And the grandmother’s knitting needles fascinated and unnerved the wolf as they flashed back and forth, clickety clack. The little girl poured him a bowl of milk and later there was stewed rabbit and vegetables from the pot and the moment for eating the little girl and her grandmother seemed to pass in a breath. He was Wolf no longer. Now he was Dog.
