As Space X’s Starship rocket takes to the skies this October, Space Cat Press unveils our own out-of-this-world series of launch events. Our first title, Desert Moonfire: The Men Who Raced to Space is now on sale. To mark its lift-off, we invite you to a book fair, a FREE writing workshop and a book launch featuring model rockets, moon cake, and an explosive story!
The workshop, Writing to the Moon And Back, will be led by SCP author and DMU tutor Siobhan Logan. And it will herald Space Cat Press’ first open submission window. Come November, we will be asking you to send us literature themed around the Space Race for our forthcoming anthology. You can find more details about that and some behind-the-scenes reveals in our interview for Future Fire magazine. So buckle up, close that vizor and let’s aim for the stars!
